Hello! My name is Mallori, and I am a licensed social worker and certified birth & postpartum doula serving South Jersey and the greater Philadelphia area. I have always had a love for strengthening and supporting families, and I am honored to do so through birth work!
I believe that the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period is a sacred time when families deserve extra love and care. I also strongly believe that families and individuals have a right to access evidence-based information and knowledge surrounding birthing options, and this continuously guides my work. I am excited to get to know you and learn more about your desires for your birth and postpartum experience!
Support throughout pregnancy will help you feel more informed, educated, and empowered for your birth, in addition to hands-on, emotional support that serves to encourage you during your birth!
Becoming educated on the signs and symptoms of perinatal mood & anxiety disorders is the first step to being more aware and prepared for handling this possibility.
Knowledge is power, and obtaining childbirth education will equip you with skills to make informed decisions as well as cope well throughout the birthing process!
Mallori was absolutely invaluable to us. During the later stage of pregnancy she provided us with lots of tools, techniques, and information in order to prepare us for labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. These things were very helpful both in preparing us for the birth of our first child as well as supporting my body through the tough end stage of pregnancy and beyond. When I was in labor she was there for me the whole time. I could not have gotten through what ended up being a difficult labor and delivery without her support. If you are thinking about asking Mallori to be your doula, I wouldn't hesitate. I cannot recommend her enough.
